About Kith & Garnet

Designed Around You

The best travel experiences do more than take you somewhere new.

They bring people closer, create stories that become part of your history, and leave you talking about the moments you shared long after you return home.

At Kith & Garnet, we believe those experiences begin with something simple:
getting to know you.

We want to understand:

  • Who you are traveling with and if you’re celebrating a special moment.
  • What you enjoy, and how you like to spend your time.
  • What makes you comfortable.
  • What would make this particular experience feel special?

Then we design something distinctly yours.

Because no two groups are quite the same, no two Kith & Garnet experiences should be either.

Designers of one-of-a-kind experiences.

The Meaning Behind Kith & Garnet

Our name reflects both how we work and what inspires us.

Kith means friends, neighbors, and the people you’re familiar with. For us, it embodies the kind of relationship we hope to create with every client—personal, comfortable, and familiar. We want working with Kith & Garnet to feel more like chatting with a friend who knows you well and just happens to know the perfect places to go, rather than simply submitting a request to a tour and travel company.

Garnet, often called the traveler’s stone, beautifully reflects our common passion for exploring, discovering new places, and creating memorable experiences with others. Its link to the world of fine jewelry feels especially meaningful, considering one of the founders’ extensive experience working with luxury and jewelry brands.

Together, Kith & Garnet represents what matters most to us: friendship, travel, personal connection, and an appreciation for thoughtfully designed experiences.

Where It All Began with a Napa Wine Tour

Kith & Garnet began several years before we knew we were building a business together.

In 2022, Julie designed Jennifer and her husband’s first Napa experience while they were traveling with business colleagues. It was the beginning of both a friendship and a working relationship.

Jennifer returned to Julie in 2024, this time for something completely different: a trip with her parents. Later that year came another experience, this one for a group of girlfriends.
Different people. Different relationships. Different reasons for traveling.

And each time, Julie approached the experience by first understanding the people who would be sharing it.
Jennifer saw firsthand how much that changed the experience. These were not itineraries that could simply be handed to the next client. They reflected the personalities, interests, pace, and relationships of the people traveling together.

After years of conversations, travel, and collaboration, we realized we shared a vision for something bigger.

In 2026, Kith & Garnet was born.

We Start with You

Where you’re heading matters, but so do the reasons, your companions, and the feeling you want from the experience.

You may be celebrating with longtime friends, reconnecting with family, entertaining important clients, marking a relationship milestone, or simply giving yourselves permission to get away.

Those details matter.

They help us decide when the day should feel relaxed and when it should surprise you. When an intimate table is more important than the restaurant everyone knows. When another stop would add something meaningful and when the better choice is simply more time to enjoy where you already are.

The result should feel considered without feeling overly planned. Distinctive without feeling unfamiliar. Special without trying too hard to be impressive.

Most importantly, it should feel like you.
